i wish we can swim for like an whole week but we can”t but its better then not swimming .......

Earthquake

On February 2011 the earth started to shake it was very scary. Trees were falling and schools were crushed. My tummy started to rumble I felt very scared. Houses were crushed and people were it danger. The earth was still shaking children were still crushed in the buildings it was a pretty scary moment
when it stopped we all came out of were we were hiding. I couldn't believe that I was still a live it was so amazing but one thing my family. When I went back to where I lived with my family I pulled every piece of the wood out but it was a waste of time because when I looked behind me my family was standing there and I was so proud to my family all alive it was so amazing.

why the machine is a good tool

I think the machine is a good tool because its not like a pencil and a paper. When you use the pen/pencil your hand will get sore straight away. When you use the machine you don’t need to write the whole letter you just need to press the letter. It's like what I am doing now and when you want a eraser you don’t need to rub it out you just need to press back space. The netbook also helps us all learn more.

I drewed this because it was a self portrait of me and we were learning about Picasso.
When you look at my picture you can see one side of me looking one way and you can see the other side looking
normal.
I learnt that Picasso drew pictures of people looking strange and unusual.

Dear Mum and Dad,

How are you doing? I really miss you. I still have two more months to go till the World War ends I hope and it is my dream to be home for Christmas.

Today we had baked beans, the same old thing for the past 100 days and most days the food is cold but it fills my hungry belly and most mornings we don’t have clean water to wash the dishes. What are you doing today? We were joking that we were eating lovely poached eggs but there’s no treats just beans with canned lamb or beef stew at room temperature at dinner or lunchtime.

Yesterday , when we had our breakfast I heard a big loud noise. It was really big, so big that my eyes all most blew out into my cup of tea. That was the other guys shelling our positions again.

Thank you for the Anzac biscuits, they were really yum ,thank you so much.

How are Auntie and Uncle Talu doing? I really miss you and I want to come back home even though I would be facing a six week voyage back to NZ and you know I don’t have any sea legs.
