John Paul and Claire find a radio in their loft They turn it on and hear different voices speaking. They become suspicious and wonder who’s talking. How did the characters feel most of the time? Confused, Scared & Curious Where did the chapter take place or where was it located? Home/ John-Paul’s bedroom/ Kitchen and the loft. How did this investigation start? JP &C look around in the loft for things they could sell in their garage sale. While they search they come across this unfamiliar radio. JP turns on the radio and something strange happens. Summary Director - Fatai Today’s Date: Thursday 26th April 2012 This is my part I had to write a summary about this. | This chapter summarises how John-Paul and Claire find a radio in their loft. When John turned on the radio a strange voice came out. John became suspicious and curious. He wanted to keep on listening, so he hurried to his room with the radio calling his sister Claire to come with him. They listened and listened. More voices came out. A name Stephen was mentioned. Claire was getting a bit scared. Later on in the day John and Claire’s parents arrived back home. John and Claire tried to convince their parents to listen but they’ll just say no. Eventually Liz(mother) tells her husband to spare a few minutes. They all listen. A voice cries out “St-eee-phen, St-eeeeee-phen”! The family becomes scared and wonders who owns this radio and if this is just a game or not one. |

...Retreat...
Thursday morning the year 8’s arrived at St Francis Retreat centre. When we got there we all were very shocked.
Once we got there we all had our lunch.Once we were finished we were shown to our rooms everyone was so excited.
we all gathered into the meeting room. Once everyone settled into the gathering room we played a game. The game was just all about knowing each others name.
When we finished we all had lunch and played a few games
going to retreat was like another step away from my family .Being there was really exciting and enjoyable.
On Friday morning everyone gathered into the chapel for
morning prayer all the early birds were all allowed to light the candles until everyone comes to the chapel. In the afternoon we all gathered in to the gathering room and once everyone was in the gathering room we all were given a bag full of the things that we need to build a boat. The activity that we were going to play was noah's ark but it was a bit different to the actually noah’s ark the differents about it was that we are only saving one animal from sinking.Playing noah’s ark was really fun everyone was so excited i could see all of the excitement in everyone’s face.
Being at St Francis Retreat centre was really fun and exciting . What an opportunity.

Today in Math’s I learn how to read

This year in math’s my
class room 7 is learning about statistic.
In Statistic we are learning to identify 5

!!!Faith Assembly!!!
Today was room 7's first Assembly for 2012
our Assembly was bast
on FAITH.
When the bell rang. Every one gathered into
the hall getting ready
for room 7's assembly to start.
Once everyone was in the hall we all got ready
and started our assembly.
Our act's was all on the slid show,
and was presented to the whole school . In room 7's assembly i played
a important role but when i saw everyone looking at me i felt embarrassing because i
had never been the one that will be on scream or be the one that has to interview or even being the
one that has to talk and it is shown on scream. But today i was that person i was really happy because i got the chance to be that person .
i recommend this to all those that are out there.

...opening mass...
On Friday it was St Pius X’s whole school mass
for this year 2012 .
Room 7 was leading the mass.
Lavina read the introduction,then the
hymn was sung.
During the mass Ofa read the reading,
Dorothy said the collect prayer.
Then the prayers of the faithful. The message that I got out
of first reading was that I shouldn’t be lazy because if
you loaf around it will never get you any where in your future and in your life.That was special to me in the
mass.

... Tennis Experience ...
Yay! it is Tuesday today. Room7 was the first to experience tennis. We went to the court with excitement. I can’t wait to play.
Once we got to the court I saw our instructor Marcel.
Marcel our instructor introduced himself, then we got straight into the skills. He taught us a lot of new tricks.I was excited. There were laughter everywhere in the court.
I could see all the excitement in everyone's face.
It was really fun playing tennis I can not wait till our next lesson.
